ORA Security — Always Connected. Always Protected.
ORA is a sales-led, guided security kit service for UK homes and businesses. Answer a few questions about your property and ORA recommends a starting alarm kit, CCTV kit or combined kit. You can adjust compatible devices, choose DIY guidance or professional design, choose self-installation or professional installation, and choose self-monitoring or professional monitoring.
Delivery is free through Royal Mail or DPD, subject to fulfilment confirmation. Online figures are indicative planning prices, not a paid checkout.
Alarm and CCTV, clearly separated
An ORA alarm kit uses a connected hub, camera-enabled PIR motion sensors, a keypad and an external siren. A camera-enabled PIR supports alarm verification; it is not full CCTV. Full CCTV is a separate recording and remote-viewing layer with dedicated cameras and a recorder.
What happens after a kit request?
ORA saves a request with the selected kit, service choices and fulfilment details. The team reviews availability, delivery, address serviceability and any survey or installation requirement before confirming commercial terms. No payment is taken through the current journey.
Existing alarm or CCTV systems
Existing-system customers are routed to an assessment. ORA does not promise that every third-party alarm or CCTV system can be reused or taken over. Compatibility, removal and any proposed migration are confirmed only after review.
Risk-aware design and standards
ORA applies risk-aware guidance to the answers provided. For professional site-specific design, the relevant requirements of PD 6662, BS EN 50131, BS EN 62676 and BS 8418 may be considered where applicable, based on individual site risk, operational requirements and the required level of protection.
A DIY recommendation is not a compliance certificate or a guaranteed compliant installation. The customer remains responsible for final selection, placement, installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and lawful operation. Higher-assurance, complex and existing-system scenarios are routed to professional review.
ORA kit ordering FAQs
- Can I order an ORA alarm kit online?
- You can submit a clear ORA kit request online. The current journey is not a paid checkout: availability, delivery, serviceability and final commercial terms are confirmed before any payment or installation.
- Can I choose professional installation?
- Yes. Professional installation can be selected for a request, subject to address serviceability and an installation or survey review. Self-installation is also available for suitable kits subject to confirmation.
- Does ORA include full CCTV?
- Full CCTV is a separate layer from the alarm. It includes dedicated cameras, recording and remote viewing. The camera-enabled PIR included in an alarm kit is for alarm event verification and is not a full CCTV system.
- Is ORA monitoring self-monitored or professional?
- The kit journey lets customers request self-monitoring or professional monitoring. Optional verified response is shown only with professional installation and professional monitoring, and remains subject to eligibility and availability.
- Can ORA assess an existing security system?
- Yes. Select the existing-system route and ORA will assess whether the system can be reused, taken over or replaced. Compatibility is never assumed.
- Are ORA prices final?
- Figures shown in the current planning journey are indicative only. Product pricing, stock, delivery charges, tax treatment, installation coverage, monitoring terms, cancellation, returns, ownership and warranty language are confirmed in writing before commitment.
