Build Your ORA Security System

The ORA builder asks plain-English questions about your home or business, then creates an indicative alarm, CCTV or combined starting point. You can edit the kit, choose service options and send a request without making a payment.

DIY or professional design

Suitable lower-complexity properties can follow guided DIY selection. The customer remains responsible for final selection, placement, installation, configuration, testing, maintenance and lawful operation. A DIY recommendation is not a compliance certificate.

Higher-assurance requirements, larger or multi-area properties, several entry points and existing alarm or CCTV systems are routed to professional design review. Where applicable, professional design may consider PD 6662, BS EN 50131, BS EN 62676 and BS 8418 based on site risk, operational requirements and the required level of protection.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a paid checkout?
No. The ORA builder creates a request record. No payment is taken until catalogue, stock, coverage, legal terms and payment arrangements are approved.
Can I install the system myself?
Yes, where the guided route considers the requirement suitable. DIY installation remains the customer's responsibility and is not presented as a standards certificate.
When is professional design needed?
Professional review is used for higher-assurance requirements, larger or multi-area sites, several entry points, existing systems and other scenarios where a simple kit cannot safely represent the site-specific design.
